Vivo has officially unveiled the rollout schedule for OriginOS 6, its latest Android-based custom operating system, bringing a refreshed design, smoother performance, and AI-driven features to its flagship and mid-range smartphones. Based on Android 16, OriginOS 6 is set to replace FunTouch OS on many devices in India and global markets, offering users a more refined and intelligent smartphone experience.

What is OriginOS 6?
OriginOS, first introduced in 2020, is Vivo’s proprietary user interface designed to provide a more intuitive, customizable, and fluid experience compared to stock Android. With OriginOS 6, Vivo focuses on deeper AI integration, improved multitasking, enhanced privacy controls, and a minimalist visual design that draws inspiration from natural elements.

- Vivo will expand the update to more devices, including the X90 series, V series, T series, and select models from the Y lineup.
