Meet the HTC U Ultra with new Sense Companion assistant (AI) and a 2-inch secondary display

HTC introduced its HTC U Ultra with brand new Sense Companion assistant (AI) and a 2-inch secondary display. HTC claims that Sense Companion will learn user behaviour over time and offers intelligent suggestion. HTC U Ultra come with 2-inch (520 PPI) secondary touch-screen display above the main display, HTC says it “the Priority Screen”, and on “Priority Screen” Sense Companion will display important alerts and notifications.

HTC U Ultra offers metal unibody that covered by Sapphire glass, HTC called it Liquid Surface. The smartphone measures in 162.41 x 79.79 x 3.6-7.99mm. The HTC U Ultra supports hybrid dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD).

HTC U Ultra comes with 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) Quad HD Super LCD 5 display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is powered by Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU and paired with 4 GB RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with HTC Sense UI. It will have 64GB and 128GB internal storage options that is expandable up to 2TB via microSD.

The HTC U Ultra offers a 12-megapixel (UltraPixel 2) rear camera with OIS, PDAF, laser autofocus, and Auto-HDR.  On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera with ‘UltraPixel mode’ and f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone connectivity option includes 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C and GPS with GLONASS. The smartphone has 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The HTC U Ultra comes with 4 microphone with always-listening feature, 3D audio recording and range of around two metres. The smartphone comes with HTC’s new USonic earphones which feature microphones in the earbuds.

The HTC U Ultra comes in Sapphire Blue, Comestic Pink, Brilliant Black and Ice White colours and it will be available for pre-order from htc.com for $750 (Rs. 51,000 approx.) starting today. The smartphone will be shipped in mid-March.
