Duol 5; Micromax First smartphone with Dual Camera Setup

Micromax has launched its first Dual rear camera setup smartphone for the Indian market on Wednesday. The smartphone is priced at INR 24,999 and the registrations for the smartphone had already started via Micromax website and the smartphone will be available by 10th April via Micromax E-Store, as well as from offline stores.

The Micromax Dual 5 has a full metal aluminium body. It has hybrid dual-SIM card configuration. It comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and it runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The smartphone has 128GB storage on board and user can also add 128GB more via microSD.

The Dual 5 has two 13 megapixel cameras on the back, one captures RGB colour while the second camera captures only monochrome images. Rear camera can records 4K UHD video. Micromax also claimed that the dual camera setup can record 3D video. The rear camera also come with bunch of modes include Bokeh Mode, Low-Light, Pano, Pro, Slow Shutter, Anti-Haze, Macro, and Monochrome. On the front, the smartphone 5 has a 13-megapixel camera.

The smartphone include Connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C. And the sensor list include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor. The smartphone has a 3200mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 charges the phone in 45 minutes.
