Samsung launched its Galaxy Note 7 in India and it will go on sale from 2nd of September. The Galaxy Note 7 has been priced at Rs. 59,900, it will be available in three colours which are Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, and Black Onyx colour variants. Galaxy Note 7 comes with pre-booking offer (limited stock), users will get the new Gear VR at a discounted price of Rs. 1,990 (Actual Price of VR Rs. 7290 approx. ) and also include Reliance Jio 4G 90 days preview offer.
The Galaxy Note 7 features iris scanner which improve the level of security, Samsung has using iris scanner first time on its smartphones. Samsung also improved S Pen stylus by reducing its tip diameter by 0.7 mm which improved the writing and drawing feels. With a S Pen user can translate text, magnify the screen by hovering on the page, it has smart select option which can record the video and the convert it into GIF file for sharing, and S Pen has also scroll and capture feature. S pen has IP68 water proof Certificate.
Galaxy Note 7 has dual curved design, dual edge curved glass on front side and dual edge curved metal back side. Note 7 body is fully water proof with IP68 certified. The Note 7 is 169 grams in weight and measures 153.5×73.9×7.9mm. Note 7 comes with dual-edge 5.7-inch QHD Super Amoled display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. A fingerprint sensor is also equipped with home button of Note 7. Note 7 is powered by Samsung Exynos 8890 Octa SoC ( 4X 2.3GHz and 4X 1.6GHz), coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1. The Note 7 comes with 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card.
The Note 7 has 12Mp rear camera with Dual Pixel technology for better low-light photography and dual-LED flash. Rear camera also supports phase detection autofocus, optical image stabilisation, and Auto-HDR feature. And 5 MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture is given on front side. The Note 7 supports connectivity options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, MST, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include an acceleromenter, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.
