The Motorola released the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India. Yesterday Motorola started Soak Testing of Android 7.0 Nougat for Moto G4 Plus in Brazil. But now the Motorola has officially announced on its India website that Android 7.0 update has been released for both Moto G4 and G4 Plus smartphones.
The announcement page contains the instructions for the installation of updates. First you need to have your battery 50% charged, then follows the instruction given bellow.
If you have received a notification message for this update:
- Select “Yes, I’m in”.
- After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
- Your phone is now updated.
- If you have not received a notification message for this update, follow the steps below to manually update your phone:
Select the Settings icon in the apps menu.
- Select “About phone”.
- Select “System updates”.
- Select “Yes, I’m in”. After the software is downloaded, select “Install now”.
- After the software is installed, your phone will re-start automatically.
- Your phone is now updated.
