Meet the Sony’s two new mid ranger smartphone Xperia XA1 Ultra and Xperia XA1

Sony introduced two mid ranger smartphone Xperia XA1 Ultra and Xperia XA1 at MWC in Barcelona. Both phone are successor of it’s the previously launched Xperia XA smartphone. Both phone will be available in the market by early summer. Xperia XA1 will prices at $300 (around Rs. 20, 000) and it will available by April 26.

Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra

The Sony made the phone lighter, and it weighs 188grams less than the XZ Premium. The Xperia XA1 has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will be available in White, Black, and Gold and there will be a regional Pink version.

The XA1 Ultra sports a 6” screen with 1080p resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 Chipset paired with 4GB RAM. It comes with Android™ 7.0 (Nougat) OS out of the box. The Xperia XA1Ultra will be available in two storage option; 32GB and 64GB with an option of expanding the storage upto 256GB via microSD card.

The Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra offers a 23MP 1/2.3” primary camera sensor, 24mm (equiv.) f/2.0 lens and SteadyShot (no OIS). On the front, the selfie camera comes with an impressive 16MP 1/2.6” sensor coupled with a 23mm (equiv.) f/2.0 lens with autofocus and a dedicated LED flash. Connectivity options include LTE (4G), LTE Cat6/4, GSM GPRS/EDGE (2G), and UMTS HSPA+ (3G). The device has 2,700mAh battery Pump Express+ 2.0 support (MediaTek’s take on fast charging).

The Sony Xperia XA1 will comes with borderless edge-to-edge 5″ HD display. , the Xperia XA1 is powered by a Helio P20 chipset with 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It comes with 32GB internal storage that can be expanded upto 256GB via microSD card.

The biggest highlight of the phone is its primary camera that offers 23MP 1/2.3” sensor with a 24mm (equiv.) f/2.0 lens, Hybrid AF, and SteadyShot. On the front side there is an 8MP camera with autofocus and Steady shot. The XA1 packs a 2,300mAh battery, no information about fast charging. The XA1 will be available in White, Black, Gold and (outside of Europe) Pink colours.
